We are writers first and always, and we recognize and respect the hard work our authors pour into their work. While we acknowledge the efforts to use AI ethically in limited applications, we believe art is simply not the place for it. Nothing can replace human ingenuity, creativity, and feeling, and we will not devalue those skills by tolerating the use of generative AI in Hat Trick Lit Mag. We'll never use AI at any step of the publication process, and every word on our website was written by a human being. We ask the same be true of our authors' works. Authors found breaking this rule will be banned from publishing with us in the future, and any published works by them will be stripped from our site.
